30% of MHASD Households currently struggle each month to make ends meet. For these families, food insecurity is real!
These are people who work, one sometimes two jobs, but just don’t earn enough to make ends meet. They are people with disabilities, and senior citizens on a fixed income.
The people in these households, are forced to make tough choices between buying food and paying for rent, medication, or gas to drive to work.
Our programs and services, provide for food, clothing along with a multitude of additional relief services, to assist and empower them to move from survival mode to a place where they are able to thrive and prosper.
